This journey starts with my grandson, Cameron, who has Down syndrome. His first few years of learning were certainly challenging and kept everyone on their toes, but those supporting him persevered. Then he began working with Melanie Dalgleish and the team, including Laura and Magla.
Cameron blossomed under their wonderful skills. Their patience and the rapport they built with him went above and beyond anything I ever expected. Their professionalism and ability to bring out the best in Cameron were amazing. He has exceeded all expectations and has come into adulthood with so much support from Melanie, who helped immensely with the social skills and coping skills needed in everyday life.
We wish Melanie and Laura all the best with this amazing venture. More young people deserve this kind of support to help them get the most out of their learning and move into adulthood with the right tools behind them.
